Well, we are officially in our second issue as an independent publication and no longer simply a feature area of Indie IN-TUNE. The support of the goth, industrial, EBM and entire dark alternative community has been great since day 1 as a feature. Because of that support and growth of worldwide readership, we became out own publication last month!
With this new independence comes trial and error and a lot of exploring. Once we get this whole new site thing down and all get used to its structure, we can start expanding! We want to expand The DJ Booth to interview more DJs from around the world each month. Also, more band reviews and interviews. Possibly some live videos, streaming interviews and music and more! We’d also like to find some people knowledgeable of the genre related fashion and culture interested in writing columns, doing interviews and feature stories.
Slowly but surely.
Oh yea, this new site is interactive! That means you can comment on almost every story, feature, review and/or article right at the very end. Kinda like a blog… just hot comment and say your piece. Please keep the language and unnecessary comments to yourself. The comment areas are meant for your opinion, comment or ideas, NOT for ongoing feuding between people. But PLEASE DO use the comment areas!
Also, we will be having some reader contests coming very soon with prizes consisting of CDs, Autographed CDs and Posters, show and event passes and more! So, keep checking back.
Last but not least, another great thing about our new site is that, although we are a monthly publication, we can get in and add things at any time now! So, keep coming back and checking! We may have some new news, contest or something else going on.
