Sometimes, pre-coverage, and coverage and even reviews of an event don’t truly tell the real story. Sometimes you just can’t explain in words, now matter how many or no matter how journalistic, the fun people were having at any given event. This year’s DarkStar Festival is a prime example of one of those kinds of events. No matter how hard I try, I can’t pass the enthusiasm and plan and simple “good time” on to the readers.
However, they say can picture is worth a 1,000 words or conveys a message best… Well, maybe, just maybe, with the help of Staff Photographer Lindsay Meredith, myself and others who volunteered photos of the weekend, we may be able to just see the tip of the iceberg of the fun filled weekend!
Carpe Nocturne will continue running this page of pictures over the next few issues as we continue coverage of this year’s DarkStar Festival with interviews with the bands and DJs that performed. Keep coming back and checking though as this pictorial section may grow as we are accepting pictures from anyone who was at the event and who wants to help us show the great fund of this spectacular weekend.
