On Friday, November 16th 2007 it became official; Americana Pop Tattoo Company opened with their grand opening party at their shop at the Babcock Tower in Boston. The cleanest, most beautiful, spacious, and well organized tattoo shop I’ve ever seen (And I’ve seen some nice shops!). I’d been talking with one of the key people instrumental in its creation for some time. I’d seen some of their work from elsewhere and promised them a spotlight when the shop opened.
As the time drew near for Americana Pop’s grand opening, they contacted me to invite me to the party and discuss the Spotlight Feature. It was then that I mentioned I wanted to expand the Body Art feature and I thought covering a brand new show with amazing artists would be a great idea… Not only with a Spotlight and Interview, but with a monthly feature following the progress of the shop along with its up and downs…. Not only were they ecstatic about that idea, they felt they should do something in return… So, Americana Pop Tattoo Company became the official main sponsor for the Body Art Feature! THANKS GUYS! We can pay the bills now! LOL!
The Grand Opening Party went extremely well. Lots of people showed up and everyone was very impressed with the shop’s overall look, appeal and layout. I met some great people there as well that night. You REALLY and I mean REALLY need to check this place out! Be sure to tell them Carpe Nocturne set you!
