Mordacious started out recording songs and putting together demos that would be dispersed among people at clubs in 2004. The music Mordacious puts out is full of energy and it was able to get people attention right away! The style of Mordacious is upbeat and straight to the point - its electronic music that will make you dance.
In 2005, the self released CD ‘Death’s Embrace’ took flight with outstand reviews and began to bring in many fans for the project. A compilation by the name of ‘Weatherhead’ released through Telegrammetry recordings pick up the song ‘cursed’. With the hit off the compilation and the high level or play Mordacious received from clubs and radio stations, it became very clear that the project definitely had what it takes; soon after the CD went into full recording.
‘Insignificant’, Mordacious’ next album was released in 2006. This release furthered the fan base and the success of Mordacious. It was time that the project began to perform live. Supporting many other artists in order to promote his new album, Mordacious put on attention grabbing shows, wining his audience almost every time!
Preparations were underway for his next move, and record companies were set on tagging him! Hypervoxx recordings soon signed with him in time for ‘This Emptiness’. The album was released in September of 06. ‘Torture Tactics’ is the newest CD released from Mordacious. The fan base continues to eat his music up as it continues to get better and better!
The most interesting thing about Mordacious is the way his music is sold. Some of it is put up for free download. On the other hand some of the music he’s released has no price on it, you’re allowed to decide how much to pay for some of the releases, which sometimes include a whole CD.
If you like moderate paced music with very danceable beats and crisp vox distortion, this is the band for you! His music is different and varies in song to song. Some of the songs sound like remixed video game music to solid dance floor hits. Either way, Mordacious will keep you moving!
